The Best Lunch Is One With Crunch

FROM BRAINWAVE TO BRAND

Although the amount of food business types that we cater to at Down2Earth Materials is vast, there are some common threads that run amongst all our customers. Down2Earth customers are a special breed that carry a certain creativity, a type of tanacity and an entrepreneurial approach that is all onto their own. To build a successful food business is no easy feat (and I’m sure that these three traits are only the tip of the iceberg in terms of requirements) and that is why we always take great pleasure in hearing good news about customers who are succeeding at building their business from initial brainwave to reputable brand.

AND THE WINNER IS…

And the award for Best Good News Story for this month goes to Aimie Musgrave and Susie O’Leary of Crunch Food Company who recently won a ‘Best Young Entrepreneurs’ award, winning a €20,000 investment in their business. Crunch Food Company were one of nine overall winners chosen from 45 young entrepreneurs and shortlisted from almost 150 applicants in the competition launched this summer by the LEOs (Local Enterprise Offices) in Cork. The event is part of a nationwide search to find ‘Ireland’s Best Young Entrepreneur.’ (IBYE).

(I’m not just writing this by the way – we have Crunch’s food delivered to our office and there’s always a canteen stampede when it arrives!) From wholesome protein-packed salads, guilt-free treats, to gym boxes and vegetarian options, Crunch are not just feeding the people of Cork the way they should be fed (like), but are making people realise that the body is only as good as the fuel that’s put into it.

SEE FOR YOURSELF

logoBut don’t just take out word for it. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re in for a treat (guilt-free of course). You can visit their kitchen/shop located just outside Carrigaline (off the Carrigaline to Crosshaven road) in Cork – Open Monday – Thursday 12pm-6pm and Friday 12pm-3pm. Or if you are in the Cork area you can arrange to have it delivered and let your whole office find out why this amazing company is going from strenth to strength.

They say ‘Your Health is Your Wealth’ and if this is the case, then Crunch Food Company are making us all very wealthy indeed!
