OLI’S COFFEE HOUSE
3 Albert Walk, Bray, County Wicklow
Business Opening Hours: Mon – Sat 10am-7pm, Sun 12pm-6pm
Sitting in Oli’s Coffee House in Bray Co.Wicklow, it is obvious that this café’s appeal is as much about the relaxed and charming atmosphere as it is about the delicious food and drinks on offer – always a great sign.
Oli’s has a strong preference for organic products and ingredients (with 65% of their stock being certified organic) giving their food a natural, wholesome quality. The menu entails organic coffee and herbal teas, paninis, (with the Goat’s Cheese Panini being Oli’s recommendation) wraps, bagels and homemade condiments/dressings.
And… is that baking you smell?? Yup – Oli has recently added his own baked goods to his menu. These include scones, brownies, flapjacks and a variety of cookies. (Some of which will be claimed as Oli’s own recipes but are actually his mother’s!)
Speaking about the food, Oliver Marcus who owns and runs the coffee house, captures it best with one short sentence:
Simple but with an emphasis on highest quality.
Besides the great atmosphere and organic foods, another intriguing element of this café is that it doesn’t just serve up great cuisine, it also serves up a nice dollop of culture! Since it’s establishment in 2011, this quaint but bustling café offers live music, regular art exhibitions and Culture Night events – Personally, my favourite kinds of Café’s!!
Oli’s uses Down2Earth’s range of fully compostable takeaway cups & lids, napkins, paper & plastic bags, salad boxes & greaseproof paper. When asked about his choice to use compostable products where possible, it’s clear that he is someone who likes to sum things up in one sentence!
We respect our home, Earth!
Oli’s Coffee House is a great example of a café that has some serious UMPH! With its delicious foods and coffees, live music, art exhibitions, an outside seating area and free WiFi – there’s even some computers available with Internet and printing access! (Old school – love it!). This establishment has plenty to occupy and satisfy its customers, and really doesn’t mind how long you stay! If you are in the area and want to visit a café with a warm welcome and an effortless cool, pop into Olli’s. I can assure you that you wont be disappointed!
Everyone at Down2Earth Materials wishes Olli the very best.
